Buttermilk-Style Chicken Tenders

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb chicken tenders
- 3/4 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 3/4 tsp fine salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Olive oil spray
Instructions
- Pat the chicken dry and place it in a shallow bowl with the buttermilk.
- Stir flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper together in a second bowl.
- Dip each tender in seasoned flour, return it to the buttermilk, then press into panko.
- Preheat the air fryer to 390 F for 3 minutes and mist the basket with oil.
- Cook in a single layer for 10 to 12 minutes, turning once, until the thickest part reaches 165 F.
- Rest for 2 minutes and serve with honey mustard or ketchup.
