Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb chicken tenders
  • 3/4 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 3/4 tsp fine salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Olive oil spray

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken dry and place it in a shallow bowl with the buttermilk.
  2. Stir flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper together in a second bowl.
  3. Dip each tender in seasoned flour, return it to the buttermilk, then press into panko.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 390 F for 3 minutes and mist the basket with oil.
  5. Cook in a single layer for 10 to 12 minutes, turning once, until the thickest part reaches 165 F.
  6. Rest for 2 minutes and serve with honey mustard or ketchup.
